Digital Experience Training 2.0

The Digital Experience Training 2.0 has been an incredible learning, innovation, and skill development journey. Designed to equip young individuals with the essential digital skills needed in today’s fast-paced world, this comprehensive training program covers several key areas, including Basic Computing, Web Development, Graphic Design, and a final Project Work module. Participants were taken through an immersive experience, allowing them to learn, create, and apply their knowledge in practical settings to prepare  them for real-world challenges.

The training program kicked off with Basic Computing, where participants were introduced to the foundational skills required to operate computers effectively. From understanding the basic functions of a computer to exploring operating systems, file management, and the use of essential productivity tools, this module provided participants with a solid footing in digital literacy. For many of the participants, this was their first formal exposure to computing, and the knowledge gained laid the groundwork for more advanced modules in the program.

The next phase delved into Web Development, a crucial skill in the digital age. Participants were taught how to build and design websites, starting from basic HTML and CSS to more advanced tools and frameworks. Through hands-on projects, participants created functional websites, enhancing their ability to build and maintain web solutions that meet the needs of today’s digital economy.

Following this, the focus shifted to Graphic Design, where participants were introduced to the world of visual communication and design principles. This module covered the roles and responsibilities of a graphic designer, careers in graphic design, and the use of essential design software, including Adobe Photoshop. Participants learned to work with layers, guides, and design elements to create compelling and functional designs. The training emphasized the importance of combining the elements and principles of design to produce work that is both aesthetic and purposeful. By the end of the module, participants had developed their own design projects, showcasing their creativity and technical skills.

The final stage of the program was the Project Work module, where participants applied everything they had learned. They were tasked with developing a comprehensive project that integrated computing, web development, and graphic design. This project not only allowed participants to showcase their newfound skills but also served as a portfolio piece that could be used in their future endeavors. Throughout the project phase, participants received mentorship and guidance, ensuring that they could bring their ideas to life in a meaningful way.

The Digital Experience Training Program at Noni Hub has empowered participants with critical digital skills, opening doors to new career opportunities in the tech industry. By providing a well-rounded education in computing, web development, and graphic design, the program has prepared the next generation of innovators and digital professionals in the Upper West Region.
